Football Registration

Welcome to the Trenton Youth Football Association. Below you can find information on our program!

Registration Dates:

• Opens April 7, 2026
• Closes May 22, 2026

The registration fee includes access to equipment that will be returned at the end of the season including: reversible game jersey, game pants, practice jersey, pads and helmet. TYFA will supply footballs and practice equipment for each team.

There is a $100 volunteer fee per family, collected at the time of registration. 

Each family is required to complete at least ONE hour of volunteer service during the season. Volunteer opportunities are posted on our website throughout the season, and you'll sign up through the website. When you show up for your shift, just check in with the TYFA Site Coordinator to get credit.

If your family completes the required volunteer hour, the full $100 will be refunded at the end of the season.

You can opt out of the volunteer commitment during registration by initialing the waiver on the Volunteer Agreement.

Home games will take place in Trenton on SATURDAY. Away games will take place in surrounding Downriver cities.

All scheduled games are subject to change for any dangerous weather conditions.

Flag K/1: T/TH 6-7pm

Flag 2nd: T/TH 6-7:30pm

JV: T/W/TH 6-8pm

Varsity: T/W/TH 6-8pm

Practice is held at the Arthurs Middle School. Practice will begin the week of August 3, 2026.

All scheduled practices are subject to change for any dangerous weather conditions.

We offer an optional football camp available to all registered players.

The camp usually takes place in late July.

Registration information will be released once season registration is closed.

All players must have an up-to-date copy of their physical (dated after April 15, 2026) on file in order to participate.

Physicals will be due before your player can be on the field. You can bring a copy of the physical with you to your fitting in June, the football camp in July or send a digital copy of your physical to secretary.tyfa@gmail.com.
